Working with Terry was fabulous! I was not a typical client, either! I had a pretty long wish list, so did my husband, my 20 year-old daughter and my 19 year-old son...sometimes conflicting wishes, too! This was all further complicated by the fact that we were moving from California, we hadn't sold our house, and I hadn't found a new job. Which means, we were not only a challenging client for Terry, but there was nothing financially for Terry to gain at least in the near future. In spite of these obstacles, Terry worked with us fervently. Terry was always cheerful and friendly and provided me with her reassurance periodically, which I so desperately needed. From the first phone call from Terry, I knew she was going to help me find a place that I would be happy in. She asked tons of questions, most of which as a first time home buyer, I hadn't thought of. Even though I wasn't quite sure of my budget, had a limited timeframe, and lived out of town, I never felt like it was an impossible task.

She stayed in communication with me the only way I know how, email. She sent me lots of choices that I could go through on my schedule. Even though I wasn't positive of what I wanted, her sending me choices helped me pinpoint what I wanted and didn't want.

By the time I came into town, she had limited our search to only those houses that I would love. We started at 9 a.m. and by 2:30 p.m. was writing an offer on a place I loved.

It was all very painless for me. She was completely in my corner, watching out for me the entire time. When I had a question or was unsure about a decision I had to make, she took the time to explain all my options in detail. She told me what she would do, but never pushed me to make a decision I was uncomfortable with. Everything that is important to me, was important to her.

What it comes down to is this, she was amazing. I now live in a great neighborhood, in a house I love, and can afford. I would not change anything about the experience. When we did my final walk through, she even brought a house warming present for my dog!!!

I have been in my house for 2 and a half months now and still get tips and notes from Terry in the mail and through email. Neat tips for home repairs or just a friendly "hope everything is going well." She lets me know that she is there if I need her for anything.... directions, tips, advice... I am new to the area and far from my family. She really lets me know that I have a friend here in Nashville----------Rachelle Aikens
